Our Story – Lusso Design Resource

Established in January 2017 Lusso Design Resource may be a young company, but principles Tim Palmer and Laura Nagel are certainly not strangers to the high-end, custom home furnishings industry.

Catering to interior design professionals, Lusso Design Resource is an exceptional resource that was created to be an extension of your own design business. Through extensive product knowledge and continuous support, Lusso builds an enduring foundation based on strong and meaningful relationships between our design industry partners and the world-class, custom manufacturers they represent.

Tim Palmer has decades of experience in the home furnishings industry, including retail sales and interior design management; and for the past 23 years, he has owned Palmer Marketing Group, Ltd., a rep organization. As a sales rep he has represented some of the most respected, high-end furniture manufacturers. Working with residential and commercial interior design firms throughout the mid-west, Tim brings a wealth of knowledge in custom case-goods, upholstery, lighting, rugs and cabinetry.

Laura Nagel, with over two decades of experience in interior design related businesses, is a true professional. From showrooms to manufacturing, Laura’s passion is building relationships, while focusing on meeting the goals of each client and their project. For the past 10 years, Laura managed the Woodland Furniture showroom in the Merchandise Mart. With extensive experience in every facet of custom–from furniture to area rugs to cabinetry–Laura has satisfied the most difficult design challenges.
